  • How to remove colourless, white, grey or white images / writing on the screen

Solution

  1. As described on the DVD ‘Colour wash’ option followed by the ‘Snow wash’ must be done for 1 hour.
  2. If this method doesnot remove the burn-in completely then, repeat the process every few days.
  3. If repeated attempts also doesnot remove the burn-in then repeat the same process once in every three or four weeks until the burn-in is completely removed.
  • How to remove grey / strange white smearing on the screen

This defect is difficult to be removed. It might be caused because of manufacturing inconsistencies of the electrical grid that controls the switching on and off of the sub pixels. This defect may not be removed completely but can be kept upto a lower level.

Steps

  1. It is sometimes possible to remove this defect completely by running the wash programmes in turn on weekly basis.
  2. Firstly run ‘snow wash’ for 2 hours, then ‘colour wash’ for 2 hours and then ‘White wash’ for 30 minutes.
