TV majors are betting on 3D TVs boldly

panasonic 3d tv1 TV majors are betting on 3D TVs boldlyTV majors have been betting on 3D TV technology quite boldly. This year, many television viewers across the globe will shed their old TV sets and go 3D tech. As the Avatar spell is slowly calming down, 3D is highly expected to make a swift shift from the big screen into homes on the small screen. Japanese TV manufacturers are facing a tough competition from their south korean rivals, and hence, are jockeying for taking the all important lead in advanced 3D technology. Japanese TV makers are making headways in terms of working with content providers and spearheading this particular sector.

Panasonic Televisions are leading the way, as expected and is all set to offer a new dimension in television viewing. Though the TV market is highly competitive, Panasonic seemingly holds a technical advantage over its rivals, thanks to its signature plasma panel, since, a 3D Plasma TV, in terms of luminescence, is much better than the rest. Panasonic opines that special coloured glasses are a part of the 3D TV package and will carry the necessary guidelines in terms of appropriate safe distance and viewing positions too. However, other majors such as Sony, Samsung, LG and Toshiba are also not to be left behind since their versions of 3D TVs are also expected to feature in the TV market soon since the industry is literally turning 3D into a standard. A healthy competition would be the ultimate victory for 3D TVs.
