Taiwan based IC distributor, Supreme Electronics, is expected to ship white-LEDs with ultra high brightness to the Korean giant, Samsung, and is supposed to enter Samsung’s supply chain of LED TVs with backlighting technology. According to reliable industry sources, the shipments are slated to begin in January 2010. From this, Supreme Electronics expects consolidated revenues and a double digit growth in January 2010 due to a considerable increase in its LED product sales.

Samsung’s LED TVs and its driver ICs will be distributed by Supreme Electronics to various business associates and vendors in the industry. Supreme’s business tie-up with Samsung is expected to boost profits as well its product line too. And Supreme Electronics expects this trend to continue far into the future since LED TVs are taking over the television industry. It is also bolstered by the fact that Samsung is going at full throttle to improve its LED TV business, in fact, by leaps and bounds.
