According to the latest reports, Sony has announced that they will give a decent discount fort the Britons while exchanging their old televisions while buying a brand new Sony Television. A discount of upto �150 is declared by the organization in the Cash For Bangers programs in the UK.

This gives the users an added advantage of disposing their old television in a fruitful way along with the offered discount for the Sony Bravia models. Sony UK personnel, Matt Coombe commented on this decision as an effective way to dispose the old television sets. The recession has given a hard blow in the sales of almost all home appliances. Sony was reported to have loss of $390 million in the first fiscal quarter of 2009. Is it the latest strategy for boosting the sales???
