3d tv Sony and Samsung to follow Panasonic in the 3D TV RaceSony and Samsung have announced their plans to introduce 3D TVs in the near future, in other words, anytime now. As the electronics industry is becoming increasingly crowded, 3D TVs are supposed to be the next hot products. Sony has mentioned that 3D TV models will size up to a neat percentage in terms of sales during this year. Sony, the maker of PS3 game consoles, shortly plans to bring out 3D game software, in time for its planned 3D TV launch sometime during June 2010.

Samsung, the industry leaders in flat screen TVs, will usher in its 3D TVs in screen sizes of 46 inches and 55 inches this month, with a wider range of models slated for a launch later this year. In terms of entertainment, 3D is supposed to be a game changer this year. Here, one needs to note that Sony is contending with LG for a top spot in flat screen TV making. With the entire world eagerly awaiting to get into the 3D TV realm, 3D TV content is also bound to become increasingly available, by the day.
