Sharp Electronics, the leading display manufacturer has made their inaugural step into the LED television domain with the release of a brand new LE700 series television. LED televisions are now much in demand for the high energy efficiency and picture quality. Sharp officials has revealed that Full Array LED backlight system is used in the latest televisions to ensure the premium image quality.
Sharp LE700 Displays are expected to be available in four different sizes; 32 inch, 40 inch, 46 inch and 52 inch. With good response speed and 120Hz processing, Sharp promises excellent picture performance for these televisions. AQUOS net internet content portal is reported to be available for all LE700 series displays except the 32 inch displays.
It is also said that Sharp LED Televisions lacks Local Dimming, one of the boastful features in hi-end LED television models. Sharp seems to be confident in its maiden venture to the LED display domain, as they have upped the production by 10% in Kameyama plant. Sharp officials also added that they are planning to open a new LCD production plant at Sakai City in coming October.
