Panasonic new Viera TV versions to be launched at IFA

The VT20 series is to come with two new screen sizes along with a new 3D series brand called the GT20.

The VT20 range is to be released with two new screen sizes such as 42″ (42VT20) and 46″ (46VT20). Both the models will be supplied with two pair of 3D glasses.

The new VT20 comes with internet connectivity, 600Hz Sub-Field drive technology and new energy saving designs just like the 50-inch version.
According to Panasonic, the energy efficient feature consumes less power when compared to the previous generation of plasma televisions and 600Hz technology produce precise motion scenes. Internet can be accessed through Panasonic’s Viera Cast suite of widgets.

Panasonic VT20 features 2D to 3D conversion function, which converts 2D images to 3D.

Another addition to the Panasonic family is the 42 inch TX-P42GT20.

According to tests conducted by Which?, the new Panasonic plasma models consume less power when compared to its previous generation plasma TVs.

The 600Hz processing in the new generation plasma televisions produce good motion and decent pictures but 600Hz processing in the previous generation plasma televisions caused flickers.
