Panasonic has unveiled its new 3D Plasma TV ranges, the Viera VT20 range. This brand new range comprises of a new and unique feature, 3D compatibility. Panasonic has powered its 3D range with plasma technology, after all. The 3D ready VT20 range features a new phosphor that shortens the afterglow time. This Panasonic VT20 Plasma TV comes with the THX as well as DLNA certification. The VT20 series also boasts of an ultra dynamic 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio.
The 3D ready VT20 version comes in Widescreen TV sizes of 50 inches and 65 inches, eyewear included. The VT20 series is enabled with the FreeSat and FreeView features. For web connectivity, though, you have Panasonic’s VieraCast functionality. Along with the VT20 range, Panasonic is coming out with other ranges such as G20, S20 and X20 as well. Though the pricing and an exact UK release date has not been confirmed, with the football world cup around the corner, we expect a May release.
