Panasonic has announced that it is on schedule to launch its 3D Plasma TVs in Japan on April 23. Panasonic had earlier announced that it would launch its 3D TVs in the United States during Spring. All top consumer electronics giants such as Panasonic, Sony, Samsung and LG are all set to launch their versions of the 3D TV this year. TV Sales for 2010 includes various ranges such as CRTs, Plasmas, LCD, LED and of course, 3D TVs such as 3D Plasma, 3D LED and so on.
Prior to the CES 2010, TV sales forecast for this year, the world over, had started off with a figure of around 220 million units with CRTs and Plasmas together projected to sell around 50 million and the balance 170 million being the projection for LCD and LED TVs, during the year. But post CES 2010, with the advent of 3D Plasma TVs the sales forecast has undergone a thorough re-look. Now, we have a better sales projection for Plasma TVs with Panasonic manufacturing and promoting 3D Plasma TVs in huge numbers, thus boosting the prospects of 3D TVs as well as Plasma TVs, the world over.
