Panasonic, one of the prominent global marketers in plasma technology, has launched a plasma TV that satisfies the consumer needs. Panasonic has always recognised the varying needs of consumers. Thus they have included the new Panasonic TH42PD60CAB Plasma TV to the viera range, incorporating Free View Tuners for additional digital effect. With Panasonic’s pioneering technology that delivers the best images, V-Real can produce an excellent plasma performance. Panasonic TH42PD60CAB Plasma TV is a tuner integrated set. This set includes DVB digital tuner. The tuner integrated with this plasma is PLL synthesizer with 100-position auto-search facility. The broadcast stereo reception used is NICAM (FM) the receiving systems are PAL -I, DVB; PAL -552/60, NTSC, M-NTSC. The diagonally measured screen size is 42 inches. The system has a G9 type progressive HD Plasma Panel. It is also compatible for PC signals. The display colour is up to a maximum of 29 billion equivalent colours. The contrast ratio of this plasma is 10,000: 1. Both the full range speakers are of 20 W output. The total number of pixels is 408,960 (852 x 480). The system has a composite video input, which transmits the signals from DVD, camcorders, and game consoles and so forth to the plasma. Panasonic TH42PD60CAB Plasma TV has an RCA phono set with 3 components, [Y, PB, PR]. It has a 21 pin input output SCART. The AV1 stream includes the components such as AV In, TV out, RGB In, AV2: AV In/Out, S-Video In, Q - Links Video/ In, Q-Link (rear). The TV is also provided with screen savers, side panel adjustments, multi window facility and the like. The power supply needed for this plasma is an AC 220 - 240 V, 50/60Hz. Another remarkable feature of this new plasma TV is their most ground-breaking Real Black Drive and New Deep Filter System that suppresses unwanted greying by reducing the electrical pre-discharge to almost about 10 percent the level of the other predictable plasma televisions. Now, this TV is effectively equipped with an environment friendly plasma panel. All major components are completely re-vamped with upgraded phosphors and panel materials, the newly shaped ribs and electrodes and reduction in the level of gas used.
