Panasonic has launched its X20 range of Plasma TVs in the UK. Panasonic has promised improved black levels in this new range of Plasma TVs. It features an improved panel and Panasonic’s Real Black Drive feature. Its lightweight screen features pre-discharge controls for achieving contrast ratios up to the extent of 2,000,000:1. The X20 range has green credentials as well with a screen life of 1,00,000 hours. It is lead free and mercury free as well.
Viera Image Viewer feature allows for displaying videos and photos. Its picture processing engine is also an improved version. The Panasonic X20 Plasma TV range comes in screen sizes of 37 inches, 40 inches and 50 inches as well. The highlight of the Panasonic X20 range of Plasma TVs is that it promises black levels equivalent to the Pioneer’s KURO range through a technology sharing agreement between Panasonic and the erstwhile Pioneer.
