Panasonic launches Full HD 3D Theatre at the Vancouver Winter Olympic Games

panasonic 3d theatre at winter olympics Panasonic launches Full HD 3D Theatre at the Vancouver Winter Olympic GamesPanasonic Corporation, known for its prowess in terms of its Panasonic Plasma TVs, is the official olympic partner for the visual and audio equipment category, has opened an exclusive Olympic pavilion, the “Panasonic 3D Theatre”, at LiveCity Yaletown, the official celebration site of the Winter Games. There are in fact, 2 theatres, with 103 inches screen sizes. Open from Feb 12 to 28, from 11am to 11pm. Panasonic has issued a statement saying that this 3D experience will easily rival the best of people’s viewing experiences, even the cinemas, reportedly.

Panasonic has thrown open to the public, what it calls a first hand opportunity in terms of experiencing a new era in immersive visual entertainment. The world would have expected high definition viewing of the Vancouver winter games, but not at the games venue itself. Three dimensional images of the opening ceremony was screened along with footage of highlights and also Panasonic’s exclusive song “ Shall be Done”. To top it all, there is no entrance fee for the Panasonic Olympic Pavilion. Panasonic feels that it is their way of sharing their passion for the games through their latest technological innovation, 3D systems, combining the enjoyment of the winter olympics in Full HD 3D.
