Two men have been detained by the Police on suspicion of thieving a plasma TV and loading it into a van last night in Eastleigh. The device was a flatscreen plasma television. They were challenged on the Desborough Road, Eastleigh and arrested after their failure to put up a reasonable explanation for their actions.

The arrested pair was from Southampton. A 26 year old and a 28 year old, to be precise. They are still in the Eastleigh Police custody, assisting the officers with their enquiries.

The Hampshire Police calls the arrests, a part of their three-month high-profile crackdown on burglaries, which is codenamed ‘Operation Nemesis’.
