Light Emitting Wallpapers may become a reality in the near future

flexible oled display 266x300 Light Emitting Wallpapers may become a reality in the near futureIn the near future, light emitting wallpapers may just about become a reality. Lomox is a Welsh company that develops OLEDs or Organic Light Emitting Diodes, the technology that produces ultra efficient lighting for wide ranging applications. Lomox claims that it has developed a sort of chemical coating that can be painted on to thin, flexible surfaces such as wallpapers to beautify homes. As per Lomox, this chemical coating, becomes luminous and emits light that goes on to mimic natural light, all this at the stimulation of low voltage electricity.

As per Lomox, this chemical coating can be applied even on to thin surfaces such as televisions, computers, mobile phones, roadside traffic signs and so on. OLED technology has already been making a silent revolution in the television industry because of its better levels of energy efficiency, sharper pictures, vibrant on screen displays and ultra thin screens. Lomox opines that OLED technology lighting will not only consume lesser energy but also emit lesser carbon-di-oxide when compared to the conventional lights.
