Hitachi has unleashed a range of new HDTVs, called as the Woo TV series. Hitachis new offerings look quite solid and feature 3 ranges – XP05, HP05 and X05. The first range, XP05, features 3 Plasma HDTVs. These new Hitachi Plasma TVs offer a Full HD resolution of 1080p and are DLNA standard compatible for the purpose of digital media streaming. Additionally, they feature 4 HDMI inputs and come with a storage capacity of 320GB HDD. The Plasma TVs come in sizes of up to a maximum of 50 inches.
The HP05 series is comparatively more modest with a Plasma TV of 42 inches size that offer a picture resolution of 720p. This Plasma TV series meets the DLNA standards and comes with a 250GB HDD. The above mentioned XP05 and HP05 series feature LCD TVs also in 32 inch sizes. There is also a low end H05 LCD HDTV series in the 19 to 26 inches size range with 720p content playback and would greatly suit the kids rooms and kitchens. These products are being launched in Japan currently.
