Comcast Corp. has announced their plans to launch Home Box Office (HBO) in HD format. This will be debuted as a video on demand service to the interested users. HBO is one of the most popular brand among the television channels, and is watched across the globes for the favourite Hollywood blockbusters.
Comcast Corp is a Philadelphia based cable television provider. It is reported that the current subscribers of HBO in the Comcast network can enjoy this service according to the users’ preference. Comcast officials also revealed that this is a part of “Project Infinity.” They also disclosed that “Project Infinity” is meant for rocketing the program options for the Comcast users.
HBO is a premium movie channel owned by New York-based Time Warner Inc, and is the last blockbuster channel to join the “HD league.”
