We have been shopping around for a new 42" plasma TV. We spent a few days researching on the latest models and the best value for money. Our aim was to find the best deal in the after Christmas sales on a 42" plasma TV. Many satisfied buyers have vouched for it and various forums are full of praise for this TV. The Panasonic Viera TH42PX60B prices have been watched by numerous people including us for a while now. That brings the price down to under £900 for this 42" Panasonic - delivered. The cost of the same TV models which come with a Pedestal stand is about £400 more. The table top stand (which comes with the above deal) is perfectly adequate if you have a TV cabinet or a stand. Unless you are absolutely particular that you need the Panasonic stand and have about £400 to pay extra for it, we do not think it is worth paying more money for just a stand. If you need a pedestal stand cheaper, you can buy a cheaper one elsewhere anyway after buying the TV. We think this is probably the best 42" Plasma TV deal of the year. Many people we know have paid well over £1500 for this TV just a few months back and it is still retailing at much higher prices elsewhere. We have ordered one and are waiting for Currys to deliver!
