Gene Munster, the Apple analyst says that Apple may launch their first television in a couple of years. The scenario in which Apple entering the cut throat television market by 2011 have excited most of the Apple fans. It is told that Apple Television set may come with home media functions like music, movies, interactive television, games, etc. and it may also feature the digital video recording.
According to the market analysts, Apple has been coying around the television market with their TV set top box. Now with the plans to release television, the warning shot is fired for all display manufacturers like Sony, LG, Samsung, Panasonic, Toshiba, etc.
