Displaybank, a global authority in market research has recently published a report saying that the 3D plasma TVs will have as much as 86% of the plasma TV sale by 2013. At the same time, it is also expected that the plasma industry will concentrate more on the production of 3D enabled products by the year 2013. Panasonic would be main winners in the world of plasma as they are the worlds largest manufacturers of plasma television.
LG, Panasonic and Samsung are the current manufacturers of 3D enabled TVs. Plasma televisions are expected to become more appealing to the customers as they can be easily sold at lower price when compared to the LCD televisions. Plasma televisions when compared to LCD televisions have lesser manufacturing cost that will consequently lead to lower price point when the new models reach the market. If this is the case, then in a few years to come, plasma televisions will become a common entertainment medium in every house hold.
