Pioneer PDP-5000EX Plasma TV is the first 50″ plasma TV which has full HDTV features at present. This means it can display 1080p, the maximum HDTV resolution of an image. The 50″ screen is made to accommodate more than 2 million pixels by reducing the size of the pixel to 0.587 millimeters.
