After a crunch time, plasma televisions is back into glory; Panasonic has released a set of new plasma models with astonishing features, and Panasonic TH-P50G10A Full HD Plasma Television is one among the new comers. Although the new design is not so catchy compared to the ultra-sleek LED Televisions, TH-P50G10A Plasma Television is aesthetically pleasing. A fading silver accent in the bottom lip and a thin glossy black bezel along with the curved stand makes this telly attractive. Unfortunately, this display does not come with a swivelling stand.
The easy to use remote control, user friendly menu with an elementary blue and yellow colour schemes, etc.are some of the helpful features of this television. When it comes to the connectivity options, one might be slightly perplexed seeing the vast range! 3 HDMI inputs(v1.3), a couple of component video connections, a VGA interface, a pair of S-Video connection, and a quad array of composite video connection ports are all set to feast you with the connectivity extravaganza in this display. However, the lack of USB connection port is indeed a blow, if you ask me. Did I forgot to specify the SD card slot into which one can slip in the SD cards to view the digital contents.
With a crowning picture quality, phenomenal colour saturation and exceptional black levels, one need not think twice for fetching this model into the shopping cart. 600Hz sub-field drive is housed in this display to ensure fluid motion images. Power consumption is always the hurdle for the “complete glory” of plasma display panels. Panasonic TH-P50G10A 50” Plasma Television offers only a moderate two star energy rating while some of the high end LCD and LED panels comes with an appealing four star energy rating. Exempting the high energy power consumption, this is a marvellous Full HD panel that renders impeccable images in the most realistic manner.
