This almost frameless plasma TV, has a very thin black and silver glossy bezel with a swivel stand, and incorporates the Single layer technology, which consists of a thin sheet of glass panel, allowing comfortable TV viewing. Its’ Full HD 1080p technology fills the pictures with great detail and clarity. The panel presents a contrast ratio of 30,000:1, a brightness of 1500 cd/m2, and displays bright pictures eliminating external reflections. Smooth motion pictures without blur are achieved too, with the 100Hz processing technology. The sound effects department consists of 2 stereo speakers with digital Dolby decoder and SRS TruSurround XT technology. What makes these speakers special is that, they are hidden in the frame and seem to be invisible and they have been tuned by Mark Levinson, a famous audio expert. Human voices are intelligently recognized and amplified by the Clear Voice feature, so that they are clearer than background noise. A long list of connections are offered by this widescreen plasma TV too, that include 4 HDMI inputs of version 1.3, an S-Video input, an AV input, an RF input, 2 Scart inputs, a component signal input, a digital audio output, an RGB PC input, a PC audio input, an RS-232C control and a USB 2.0 port. Wait! There’s more. In addition to these, this plasma TV is blue tooth capable as well, which makes it compatible with blue tooth enabled phones or MP3 players or head phones. Also reducing confusion with controlling several AV devices linked to this TV, is the Simplink feature, which allows you to use a single remote control for this purpose. The other features present are child lock, clock, sleep timer, on/off timer, 8 day Electronic programming guide, menu system in 22 different languages, built-in Freeview and Teletext.
