LG, the well-known South Korean Electronics Titan has released new plasma displays with improved performance and robust design that makes it the focal point in any interior space. LG always marshals hard to come up with better models than their predecessors with innovative designs and revolutionary engineering techniques. LG 42PX5D 42” widescreen Plasma TV comes with 1024 X 768 pixels display resolution, and has 5000:1 image contrast ratio. The brightness offered by this screen is 1000Cd/m2, and image aspect ratio of 16:9 to ensure best quality images for all possible video inputs.

This 42 inch plasma television has 160 degree viewing angle that offers decent viewability in all possible viewing positions. This display supports 720p and 1080i video broadcast formats. This screen features colour temperature control, PIP, magicstor, XD engine, MMC/SD card reader, X studio memory card compatibility, etc. It has integrated freeview tuner and Dual TV tuner that helps users to access many channels without any subscription charges. This television is PC compatible and has component video, composite video and S-Video connections for analog video signal processing.

The audio setup of LG 42PX5D Plasma TV with integrated Freeview Tuner is fairly good with stereo sound output mod, and SRS Trusurround mode effectuates the audio signals adeptly. There are two speakers incorporated in this television, which deliver a total output power of 15 watts. The connectivity offered by this screen is good with a couple of  composite connection, a component video connection, a pair of S-Video connection, HDCP compatible connection, one HDMI input, couple of  SCART connections and a RGB compatible SCART too.
