Got something to say?

I bought my LG 42PT85 on 31st Dec 2007 from Empire Direct. Under one year the TV started freezing and not responding to the remote. Could only switch off from the wall to reset the tv.
Contacted Empire Direct and they told me to speak with LG as the tv was within its first year of warranty. Called LG and they said it must be software fault and they will send someone round in two weeks time to fix in situ. Then they called back same day and said we will collect for repair. Should be back within 10 days.
Called them up 2 weeks later and it was with an outsourced repair company in Greenock, Scotland, awaiting parts.
After 3 weeks they were still waiting for parts from the Netherlands and I told them yesterday that I will call them once or twice a day to chase up.
Got a call today that as they cant get the parts in time for the repair, they are going to right it off and send me a letter so that I can get a similar LG TV from an LG dealer for free.
