you may think you get what you pay for...but don't fall into the trap of paying for the name. I've spent months researching and found negatives everywhere I turned...believe me when I say THE ONLY THING THAT IS WRONG WITH THIS TV IS THAT YOU HAVEN'T BOUGHT IT YET. And don't worry about the sound issues, all LCDs struggle in that department, but I haven't even had to turn on my surround sound yet. The speakers on this model are hidden behind the bezel (the frame part around the screen) and it almost sounds as good as a system, except for volume level, which is loud enough, but not ear-shattering.

Pros- Perfectly crisp picture in HD and a better than average picture in SD...except TBS, for some reason...
Super sound quality, sound seems to come from every direction. Sleek, attractive design goes well with any decor.
Lots of connectivity, 3 HDMI, 2 component, 2 RCA, 1 co-axial, USB, and VGA.
PS3 looks astounding on it.
No glare on the screen from external light sources.
