This screen has 16:9 image aspect ratio, which is ideal for watching movies. The viewing angle of this plasma screen is 160 degrees, which allows users to watch TV leisurely in their favourite viewing position. The in-built digital tuner and freeview are some other technologies that may excite the users. Freeview helps you to access many channels for free without any subscription charges.
Most vaunted features of Pioneer KURO LX6090 Plasma TV are the robust blacks and high picture quality. The high contrast ratio and the picture enhancement techniques like video noise reduction, deep rib waffle, crystal emission layer, iClear drive, room light sensors, 24p playback and active DRE (Dynamic Range Expander) ensures razor-sharp life-like vivid images. The good bunch of connectivity includes 3HDMI, 2SCARTs, S-Video, composite and component connection along with PC interface.
The audio system of Pioneer KURO LX6090 HDReady 60” 1080p Plasma TV is marvellous, with stereo sound output mode and NICAM stereo reception system. SRS WOW HD, SRS Surround and SRS TruBass are the sound effects incorporated for the adept rendition of audio signals. The operational power consumed is 510W and the standby power requirement is 0.4W. However, the lack of Power on/off switch may annoy some of the users because each time you have to unplug the TV to switch it off. This is indeed a pricey telly, however a worthy lifetime asset if you have an eye on it.
