It was a talk of the town when the king display makers Pioneer backed away from the plasma display industry, and many industry watchers predicted it as the end of Plasma televisions. Following the King, many other display manufacturers also stepped out of the plasma industry, leaving behind a handful of players in the game! Now the towering tycoon is back with added style and glamour! Pioneer has announced two limited edition plasma screens into their successful KURO line-ups, which is the benchmark for testing the quality of Plasma display panels.
Pioneer has proved that they are the real wizards in the Plasma display technology, and has launched the latest models with a magical touch in design and features! Dubbed as Pioneer KURO KRP 500AW Plasma Television and Pioneer KURO KRP 500 ABG Plasma Television, they are excellent piece of art with a perfect blend of technology too. Novel design is the highlight of these displays, and it is difficult to say whether the uniquely coloured bezel or slim profile that draws admiration more! The displays remain high with the elegant design, and KURO brand name which is the hallmark for quality. Only 1000 units of the Beige sorcerer Pioneer Grisé KRP-500ABG Plasma Television will be available across Europe, while 1500 units of the white beauty Pioneer KRP-500AW Plasma Television will be released all over Europe. Both plasma displays comes with a diagonal screen size of 50 inches, and flaunts an ultra slim profile of 64mm thickness. According to Pioneer Officials, these displays are developed to show the movies in the Blu-Ray format at exactly the same way the movie is shot and mastered. The Enhanced Optimum mode is another important feature in this television that alters the brightness of the screen according to the ambiance and lighting conditions. This offers comfortable viewing, and also helps to lower the power requirements of the television. The optimum mode is now available in many eco-friendly televisions like Sony Bravia W5500 LCD television, that helps to lower the power consumption largely.
This screen is DLNA certified, and allows the users to connect the media center or PC to the KURO television and do data streaming or digital playback. Both the displays come with full HD resolution, and has “whisper quiet” glossy black media receiver that helps to connect all devices and power cable into the television with a single cable. This inturn adds to the aesthetics of the television, and makes it quite attractive wall mountable display. Apart from the light sensor, these displays have “Colour Sensor” that measures the colour attribute and map it according to the ambient lighting conditions to offer immaculate images.
