LED TVs are due for Price Drops in 2010
December 28, 2009
LED TVs, with outstanding picture quality and energy saving capabilities, have been quite a big hit in 2009, and have been selling well, inspite of the expensive price tags attached to them, even under the current economic climate. Leading manufacturers such as Samsung, Sharp, LG and Sony have shown satisfactory sales figures through 2009. In fact, the overall prediction in the LED TV market is that the year 2010 is bound to see the sale of many more units, especially of the super slimline models as such.
That said, one needs to accept the fact that the price of such models is quite high and may pose a major hurdle in the overall sales. Hence, it is only imperative for many of the bargain manufacturers to introduce their own versions of LED TVs at hugely discounted prices. A classic example for this case is the Vizio LED TV that costs only about a thirds of the regular Samsung models. What’s more, the Vizio LED TV is just under an inch in thickness and offers LED technology at its cheapest best, with reduced carbon emissions and energy saving factors as well. Therefore, it is highly predicted that all major players are also likely to join the bandwagon and reduce LED TV prices in 2010 to boost sales.
