New Samsung HDTVs come with Blockbuster On Demand Service

Most of the leading manufacturers like Sony, Vizio, Panasonic, etc. has already coupled with NetFlix, Vudu and Amazon respectively for the Video On Demand Service. It is reported that Samsung has teamed up with Blockbuster to offer video on demand service to their latest products like HDTVs, blu-ray players, etc.
Expecting this new service by the fall of 2009, can order their favourite flick from the massive digital entertainment library of Blockbuster. It is also said that the existing users can also make use of this service through the free firmware upgrade or by downloading the “blockbuster On Demand” widget.
The upgradeable product range include selected 2009 Samsung Blu-Ray players, Samsung LCD and plasma televisions (HDTVs above Series 650) and Samsung LED Televisions (HDTVs above Series 7000).
