A walk through Pioneer KURO Elite Signature Series

Pioneer is considered as one of the supreme brand for home theatre systems, especially for displays and Pioneer KURO displays have already gained popularity among the mass as a flawless display. When KURO Elite series, an advanced version of KURO series was launched, a new benchmark was set for plasma HDTVs. Pioneer has debuted the advanced KURO Elite Signature Series for custom installers with high-end installation features. Pioneer KURO Elite Pro-151 FD Plasma TV, Pioneer KURO Elite Pro-111FD Plasma TV, Pioneer KURO Elite Pro-141FD Plasma monitor and Pioneer KURO Elite Pro-101 FD Plasma Monitor are currently included in the signature series, out of which Pro-111FD Plasma HDTV has already been chosen as the best plasma display at present.
These series of displays are designed for entertainment cognoscentes, and comes with highest possible display resolution 1920 X 1080 pixels, deft black levels for peerless contrast, open architechture that helps to make custom controls and integration easy and flexible, multiple menu like home or user or integrator and 2.5” ultra thin cosmetic design. It has all KURO features like optimum mode, room light sensor, image orbiter, energy saver mode, picture adjustment comparison, 4 superlative v1.3 specified HDMI inputs, KURO link, ability for 1080p transmission and reception of 24/60 Hz signals, HDCP compatibility, 3:2 and 3:3 pull down modes for offering smooth images especially while watching movies, KURO link remote control with multiple modes, etc to render unsurpassed picture quality and impeccably detailed images.
This KURO Elite Signature series features expanded picture set up and custom calibration adjustments like ISFccc calibration mode, Blue only mode etc, IP control for set up, configuration, control and self diagonistics, RS-232C control, multiple menu structure, IR Repeater, OSD Off mode, Integrator features like FRC, mirror mode, studio, monotone, etc, world wide signal support using NTSC, PAL and SECAM, and ultra slim design that makes it a perfect wall mountable television. The picture settings of signature series is superior with 8 different viewing modes, various aspect ratio control modes, various multi-channel preview modes, after image reduction functions like image orbiter, side mask detection, auto size, side mask brightness sync, video pattern, etc. These displays have game controls and game modes along with room light sensor for rendering immaculate images with rich tonal range and vibrancy.
The Video processing techniques of these displays include gamma, CTI, enhance mode, ACL, black level, DRE picture, ACL, various noise reduction features and colour detail settings, IP mode and drive mode to deliver unblemished images with superlative quality. The connectivity of these displays are excellent with 4 HDMI inputs, component connection, 1 DVI/w HDCP connection, composite connection, RS-232C connection along with LAN and PC-input too. These plasma display panels comes under 50” class or 60” class, with 49.85 inch and 59.58 inch screen size respectively.
