Samsung Electronics, the South Korean baron in consumer electronics has announced the launch of Samsung 850 PAVV 1″ Plasma Television It comes with wafer-thin dimensions. With a sleek profile and slightly over an inch thickness, this television comes with amazing features to make it highly competent and cost-effective.
The svelte design makes this television highly adorable. According to Samsung officials, the new comers are 120% more seductive than their predecessors. This itself reveals the crafty design of the PAVV displays. With many specifications still under cover, this television is expected to be a smart display immensely rich in features and highly aggressive in performance. According to the Sammy personnels, these televisions are 20% lighter than the conventional plasma televisions. Moreover energy efficiency of this display is quite high. One may be able to save 40% energy with the latest PAVV 850 Plasma display panel.
These televisions are expected to arrive in two different screen sizes; 50” and 58”. both the models are reported to be Full HD televisions; 1920 X 1080 pixels display resolution is capable enough to render artful output images. This television also comes with DLNA support that makes it compatible with other DLNA compliant devices. USB 2.0 socket that supports DivX is yet another highlight of this television. Samsung has always given prima importance to the connectivity options of the television. The same magic is expected in this series too.
This super-skinny television comes with 29mm thickness, which is slightly over an inch; 1.14” to be precise. Samsung has reassured that the picture quality is not compromised in the slimming down process. Also reputed as “finger-slim” plasma televisions, these displays comes with Crystal Engine to offer excellent video output. Moreover the high refresh rate of 240 Hertz offers fluid images, that just glides one over the another freely to eliminate the image lag and resolution loss completely.
The USB port incorporated in Samsung 850 PAVV Full HD Plasma Television comes with multi-format support, and can be used to view photos, videos, as well as MP3 directly from the external source. This television is also expected to double up as PC monitor and big screen for gaming consoles. The total weight of the 50” and 58” plasma television is around 26kg and 36kg respectively. No word is spoken about the release date or price details. It is anticipated to be released soon, as the television is already launched by Samsung in Asia.
