Panasonic has announced the release of two brand new VIERA Plasma Televisions in Japan in the upcoming month. Named Panasonic TH-P65V1 Plasma Television and Panasonic TH-P58V1 Plasma Television, these big screens are expected to focus cinemaphiles as the premium customers. The 65 inch and 58 inch displays sports the ground breaking Neo PDP Panel to offer impeccable image quality. Neo PDP Panels are renowned for the high energy efficiency and ultra picture clarity.
These hot duo are expected to come with 1920 x 1080 pixels display resolution and a contrast ratio of 40,000:1. Being high-end models, these televisions are expected to sport VIERA cast streaming media and internet widgets. The display panels are equipped with SDHC memory card slots that can play back audio, video or image in the HD perfection. V1 series displays also support AVCHD and AVCHD Lite Video playback on SD cards. 24P mode is also a much anticipated feature in these audio-visual equipments. Like most of the high-end contemporary displays, V1 series is also anticipated to be DLNA Compliant.
Audio performance is one of the strong points of any Panasonic display panel. It is told that the designers have included virtual 5.1 surround system and stereo speakers in these big-screens. Other main specifications include You Tube and acTVila streaming video and CCTV system that can integrate with four different wireless security systems. Although, the pricing details of these plasma televisions are still under cover, V1 series plasma display panels are expected to fly off the shelves by September 15th 2009. Panasonic has selected Japan as their maiden market. No word is let out regarding the European release of these VIERA models.
